Denise Van Outen will marry her boyfriend "when the patio is done".
The 46-year-old actress has been in a relationship with businessman Eddie Boxshall since 2014, but she's admitted that lockdown and plans to renovate their house have derailed their ambition to tie the knot.
Denise told Closer magazine: "I would 100 per cent propose. I sort of had that planned for the leap year last year, then we went into lockdown.
"We didn’t want to do anything until things got back to normal, and we want to get our house finished."
Denise has an 11-year-old daughter called Betsy with her ex-husband Lee Mead, and she's been pestering her to tie the knot.
But the former 'Babes in the Wood' star insists other things - including her patio - are taking priority for the time being.
She said: "I tell her, ‘When the patio’s done’."
Denise previously suggested that 2023 was the most likely date for their wedding.
The TV star is happy to wait to tie the knot so that all of her friends and family can attend the special occasion.
Denise - who was married to her ex-husband between 2009 and 2013 - shared: "We’re not engaged but we are preparing to get married. It will definitely happen but we’re not in a rush.
"We’re both getting back to work now with everything opening up and it’s just finding the time, as we want it to be a big day and that takes a lot of planning.
"We don’t want a small wedding. We want a big group of people and a big party with no restrictions.
"Plus, with all the weddings that have been cancelled because of the pandemic, there’s going to be a massive backlog and I wouldn’t want to get in the way of all of them. Let them all go first!"
