Debbie McGee topped the 'Strictly Come Dancing' leaderboard on Saturday (21.10.17) with an impressive Rumba.
The 58-year-old stage performer impressed the judging panel - which was missing fourth judge Bruno Tonioli due to a "busy schedule" - when she took to the dance floor on the BBC Latin and ballroom dance competition with her partner Giovanni Pernice to dance a romantic Rumba to 'Baby Can I Hold You' by Tracy Chapman.
Debbie scored a total of 27 from the three remaining judges, with Craig Revel-Horwood, Darcey Bussell, and head judge Shirley Ballas all awarding her with nine points each.
'Holby City' actor Joe McFadden and his partner Katya Jones were close behind with 26 points for their impressive Paso Doble, but were unable to take the top spot, despite being awarded a perfect 10 by Shirley.
Thanks to a missing Bruno, the scores for the week were close, with four celebrities managing to come in joint third place on the leaderboard.
Saturdays singer Mollie King, former JLS member Aston Merrygold, actress Gemma Atkinson, and Paralympic champion Jonnie Peacock all managed to score 24 points when they took to the dance floor with their professional partners.
At the other end of the leaderboard, there was another tie, with four more couples falling short of perfection.
Simon Rimmer and Karen Clifton, Brian Conley and Amy Dowden, Susan Calman and Kevin Clifton, and Ruth Langsford and Anton Du Beke all found themselves in the bottom spot, with just 16 points each.
'Strictly Come Dancing' will return on Sunday (22.10.17), where two couples will be forced to battle it out in the dreaded dance off.
