Dean Gaffney is looking for love on a dating app.
The 'EastEnders' actor - who plays hapless Robbie Jackson on the BBC One soap - is said to have created a Bumble profile following his split from Rebekah Rose-Ward, and wants to hook up with someone who is not "in showbiz".
A source said: "Dean waited a while after his split with Rebekah before putting himself back out on the dating scene.
"It may be a bit of a shock for a lot of women to see someone like him on a regular dating app but it shows he is up for finding a normal girl, rather than someone in showbiz."
Dean hopes looking for love on the app will give him a better chance of "meeting Mrs Right".
The source added to The Sun's Bizarre column: "He's a down-to-earth guy who doesn't take life too seriously and just wants someone to spend time with.
"Dean knows he's casting the net wide but he thinks that way there is more of a chance of meeting Mrs Right."
Dean and Rebekah split in March following a three-year relationship.
A source said at the time: "Dean hit the jackpot when he got together with Rebekah but now she's told him to take a hike."
The 41-year-old actor started dating the 25-year-old model shortly after his breakup from childhood sweetheart Sarah Burge, with whom he has 23-year-old twin daughters Chloe and Charlotte.
Dean recently claimed he gets mistaken for model David Gandy at times, and joked the Scottish hunk would be lucky to share a resemblance to him.
He said: "He wishes he looked like me... No, I'm joking.
"It's not just the fact he's a model, he's a very handsome guy, he's not a young model, as in he's kind of distinguished and the sheer fact that people even think that we remotely look alike, I'll take that one definitely for the team. I think it's great."
