Dean Gaffney has reportedly been banned from driving for nine months.
The 39-year-old actor remained tight lipped about who was driving his car, which was caught driving at almost 40 miles per hours in a 30 miles per hour zone in Liverpool in January last year, and when the case was taken to court in October 2016, he is believed to have pleaded not guilty for failing to give police information about the driver.
It has also been reported the former 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!' contestant - who took part in the show in 2006 - failed to attend a trial at Liverpool Magistrates' Court earlier this month, and is believed to have requested an adjournment because of his work commitments.
Although Dean failed to show up to court an outcome was decided on during his absence, which has seen him found guilty and handed a nine month driving ban, as well as a £1,000 fine, The Sun Online has reported.
Meanwhile Dean is set to reprise his role as Robbie Jackson in 'EastEnders' after 14 years, and he has promised the programmes bosses he has "grown up considerably" and has vowed to act as a mature adult on and off screen.
Speaking about Dean's comeback, a source previously said: "But when he came back he was told the character would have grown up considerably -- and that stars on the show are now expected to maintain that maturity off-set too.
"Dean is a very different person now and has realised it's a totally different vibe on set.
"And he's told people that even though he's back as Robbie, there's no chance of him reverting to that way of life."
