Dawn O'Porter "didn't feel comfortable" being an actress.

The 34-year-old TV star - who made a brief appearance in 'Skins' in 2011 - claims she wouldn't have the confidence to go to an audition because acting makes her feel awkward and she doesn't think she's that great at it.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz while promoting Jacob's Creek, the official wine of Wimbledon, Dawn said: "I enjoyed doing skins - obviously I was acting - but I didn't feel comfortable. I didn't feel like, 'Oh I'm really good at this'. I certainly wouldn't actively pursue being an actress. I'd never go to an audition or anything like that.

The brunette beauty - who is married to Chris O'Dowd - is known for speaking her mind on the social networking site Twitter, but admits performing restricted her from being able to release her inner self, which she wasn't particularly fond of.

She explained: "I don't think I'd go back to acting. I gave it up after drama school because I just didn't feel like it was me at all and then I got really frustrated with not being able to say what I wanted to say. I think there's only room for one actor in this relationship."
