Spanish natives are to date Britons in new programme 'Language of Love', which is said to be inspired by the hit ITV2 show and 'Big Brother', which Davina presented until 2010.

A TV source told The Sun newspaper's TV Biz column: "This will have the feel of both shows in many ways.

"It’s shot inside a Spanish villa full of hot single people looking to hook up. But the major difference is many of the contestants won’t be able to understand each other due to the language barrier, so it will be lust doing the talking.”

Producers have been on the hunt for British contestants to move into the Spanish villa with the love-hungry hopefuls.

'Language of Love' comes hot on the heels of other dating shows including 'Married At First Sight UK', 'Ex On The Beach', 'Ready To Mingle' and 'Too Hot To Handle'.

Davina - who is also a judge on 'The Masked Singer' and 'The Masked Dancer' - was previously in line to host the reboot of 'Changing Rooms'.

But due to other work commitments she had to pull out, with 'Naked Attraction' host Anna Richardson taking her place.

A source said at the time: "Davina was so excited to be part of the reboot but with the changing production schedule, it has become a nightmare. Filming was supposed to take place at the end of last year but it got moved until earlier this year. And now it’s been pushed back again.

"The lockdown and pandemic have played havoc with the schedule and sadly Davina has said she won’t be able to commit.

"It’s the last thing anyone wanted but she is so busy with other filming commitments. Everyone on Changing Rooms is gutted as getting Davina on board was a huge coup for the reboot."
