Davina McCall has led the tributes to Nikki Grahame on social media.
The former 'Big Brother' star passed away in the early hours of Friday (09.04.21) after a long battle with anorexia and Davina has taken to Twitter to praise the TV personality, describing her as the "sweetest girl".
Davina - who was the presenter of 'Big Brother' during its run on Channel 4 - wrote on the micro-blogging platform: "I am so desperately sad to hear about Nikki Graham x my thoughts are with her friends and family xx she really was the funniest , most bubbly sweetest girl x [heart emojis] (sic)"
Elsewhere, Jedward - the musical duo who appeared on 'Big Brother' in 2011 and 2017 - have also taken to social media to to pay tribute to Nikki, who died at the age of 38.
They said: "Rip Nikki Grahame as fellow Big brother contestants we’ve gone through the same experience and having met you on tv shows! our heart goes out to your family and friends [heart emoji] (sic)"
Meanwhile, Rylan Clark-Neal offered his condolences to Nikki's mum and described the TV star as a 'Big Brother' "icon".
Ryan, 32 - who appeared on 'Celebrity Big Brother' in 2013 - wrote on Twitter: "Thinking of Susan and Nikki’s close friends and family. A Big Brother Icon x (sic)"
News of Nikki's passing was announced by the GoFundMe page that was set up to raise money for her care costs.
A statement read: "It is with great sadness, we have to let you know that our dear friend Nikki passed away in the early hours of Friday 9th April.
"It breaks our hearts to know that someone who is so precious was taken from us at such a young age. Nikki not only touched the lives of millions of people, but also her friends and family who will miss her immensely.
"We would like to request privacy at this difficult time, while Nikki's friends and family process the sad news."
