Davina McCall finally feels "liberated" to talk about sex.
The 53-year-old TV star - who has Holly, 19, Tilly, 17, and Chester, 14 - feels inspired whenever she hears other women talking so candidly about their sex lives.
She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper's Biz on Sunday column: "What I love about all of these women who are out there, including Honey Ross, they are there just talking about things that previously were so embarrassing and shaming to talk about and they’re just getting it out in the open.
"They are liberating me. I’m sure they’re not supposed to be liberating me because I’m supposed to be flipping liberated by now, but they are liberating my girls and they are also liberating me.
"As a 53-year-old woman to not be embarrassed about this stuff is great because why should we not have pleasure like men?"
Meanwhile, Davina previously insisted that attitudes towards ageing have changed over recent years.
The former 'Big Brother' star said: "In the previous generation, at the age of 50 they thought, this is the age where this happens, or that happens, and I’m not going to be able to wear a bikini after 55. Rubbish! That’s all gone out of the window.
"It feels quite nice. I think we’re the first generation who are doing whatever we want, whenever we want, so that’s exciting. And we may have a few more wrinkles now, but with that comes a sense of wellbeing and life experience…
"I feel much more confident and that I can literally talk to anybody. I feel like I’ve got nothing left to prove and I’m alright in my own skin."
