David Walliams and Matt Lucas are planning a new TV project.
The 'Little Britain' creators have been discussing reuniting for a new TV show but David admitted it has been hard to find the time between his work on 'Britain's Got Talent' and Matt's presenting role on 'Great British Bake Off'.
Speaking on 'The Lateish Show With Mo Gilligan', he said: "Matt is obviously super-busy because he’s got the 'Bake Off' and he’s doing some other big, important things. But hopefully in the next year or so we’ll hopefully get something on the screens."
David, 49, previously revealed he and Matt, 47, have been working on a new show.
He said in May: "Me and Matt are meeting up and talking about projects. We took my mum out for dinner. We are discussing projects.
“We just have an idea of something we want to do. The idea – where we play lots of different characters, which is, you know, something people expect from us – and so we’re just going to start writing it, and if we feel it’s good and we want to share it with people, we’ll ask if anyone wants to put it on TV.”
And, along with working with Matt again, David recently revealed he would love to compete in 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
He said: "It's a great way of losing weight but you've got to dance all day. Bill Bailey’s set the bar high. Whenever I dance, people laugh, even if I wasn’t trying to be funny, and then I have to pretend I was trying to be.”
