Sir David Jason

Sir David Jason would often get scolded by the bosses at 'Only Fools and Horses'.

The legendary comedian admits that he used to get told off for laughing so much during filming with his co-star Nick Lyndhurst.

David told the Readers Digest magazine: "One time Nick Lyndhurst and I kept falling about so much that we couldn't shoot the scene. The director got exasperated with us, shouting, 'Now come along! You're supposed to be actors but you're behaving like children!'."

The 73-year-old star has also spoken about his experience of working with renowned comedy performer Ronnie Barker, who sadly passed away in 2005, in 'Open All Hours' and admits he inspired to be like him as an actor.

He explained: "Ronnie was a good friend and a gentleman ... I learned so much from him. He had creativity and a way with words that made him a talent beyond all others."

The December issue of Reader's Digest is out Friday November 15 November.
