'Hairy Bikers' star Dave Myers has signed up for 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 55-year-old TV chef will receive a £25,000 fee for taking part in the BBC contest and is feeling confident about his chances after he and sidekick Simon King overhauled their unhealthy lifestyles to shed weight and get fit.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Dave's transformed himself. He's a lot lighter on his feet and has much more confidence."
Dave was reportedly approached to take part after 'Great British Bake Off' star Paul Hollywood turned down the show.
While Dave is the first celebrity confirmed to be taking part on the programme - which returns to BBC1 next month - a host of famous faces have been rumoured, including model Abbey Clancy, 'Desperate Housewives' star Teri Hatcher and Olympic swimming champion Rebecca Adlington.
One star who won't be taking part is Peter Andre, who recently confirmed he had turned down an approach from show bosses because it was too big a time commitment - and he wasn't keen on the sparkly costumes.
He said: "I think Strictly's a really good show. I really like it because I've danced for years, but it's quite a few months you have to do it for and because our work is so full on, we don't have that.
"The other thing is that I could not see myself wearing the spandex. I could do everything else on that show, except for wearing those tight trousers. I think the outfits look great on the girls and some of the guys can pull it off, but it just doesn't suit me."
