Giving out high scores so early on in 'Strictly Come Dancing' has left Darcey Bussell with regrets.

The former ballerina admits being generous when she is marking in the early rounds of the BBC One competition makes it much more difficult to be fair in the later stages.

She explained: "My biggest regret is scoring too many 10s on 'Strictly'. It makes it harder to score contestants as the weeks go on."

Darcey loves working on the show alongside fellow judges Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman and particularly enjoyed the annual episode filmed in Blackpool recently.

She added to Grazia magazine: "The last time I was really happy was being in Blackpool filming 'Strictly Come Dancing'. We have a wonderful time and I am slightly spoiled in my job as we are entertained constantly. I'm a happy-go-lucky person and it's hard not to get a grin out of me."

Darcey's comments come after 'Strictly' professional dancer James Jordan recently called for a change in the show's judging line-up.

He wrote on Twitter: "Maybe instead of always looking to change the amazing pro dancers. I think it's about time they have more judges from the ballroom world!"

"It's the best show on TV!

However, get the leader board right and then let the public decide. Then u can accept it
