Danny Miller will take part in a 40-mile walk to raise money for charity.
The 29-year-old soap star - who has played Aaron Dingle in 'Emmerdale' since 2008 - has announced a fundraiser for his favourite charity Once Upon a Smile, which provides emotional and practical support for bereaved families.
He will walk from Manchester to Liverpool FC's stadium Anfield on 22nd July, and he is hoping to raise £5,000 for the cause.
Danny wrote on the fundraising page: "I have waited years to be there when Liverpool finally lift the Premier League and now I can't even see that in person. But I'll get as close as I can with the help and support from my beloved friends and followers.
"I want to combine two thinks I've had taken away from me during COVID-19 - which is the access to our fantastic charity HQ and my second love of my seat at Anfield. So I decided to add them together and try and earn some vital funds for my beloved charity and help us on the road back to some normality. (sic)"
Danny co-founded the charity with his friend and fellow actor Daniel Jillings in 2011, after they realised there was a lack of support for families following the death of a loved one.
So far, the 'Emmerdale' star has gained more than 100 supporters who have donated more than £3,500 for the cause.
Several of Danny's fans praised the actor for the generous act of kindness.
One wrote: "Bless you for your caring heart! I appreciate the work you do."
Another commented: "I'm more than happy to support an incredible charity, we're all in these awful times together. Good luck for the walk, Danny, we are all behind you, I also think you are a sensational actor. Good luck (sic)"
