Danny Miller has quit 'Emmerdale'.
The 30-year-old actor has departed the ITV soap after 13 years of playing Aaron Dingle, ahead of his appearance in the latest 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' series this Sunday (21.11.21).
Danny is quoted by Mirror Online as saying he felt "very emotional" about the decision and that the show was a "big part" of his life.
It comes as the star became a father to baby boy Albert, his first child, just three weeks ago.
And Danny has admitted he and Steph had a big chat about whether he should still take part in 'I'm A Celebrity' less than a month after she gave birth.
He said: "Steph and I had a long discussion about me taking part in 'I’m A Celebrity'.
“We were due to start IVF earlier this year and that would have meant the baby would have been due next March, so it wouldn’t have mattered.
"But then a miracle happened and Steph fell pregnant [without IVF]. I knew my baby would only be about a month old when I went into the Castle.
"I was worried about leaving the baby with Steph on her own but she is a midwife and I know our baby will be in perfect hands.
"She has been incredibly supportive and she knows what a great opportunity this is to take part. And so after lots of discussions, I’ve said yes!"
Danny first played Aaron from 2008 to 2012, and he later reprised the role in 2014.
And he hopes 'Emmerdale' fans will vote for him to take part in the 'I'm A Celebrity' Trials.
He added: "I do hope they vote for me. I want to show I have a fun side to me."
