Danny Miller was left tearful after admitting he is feeling “homesick” on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’.
The 30-year-old actor admitted during Friday’s (03.12.21) episode of the ITV reality series that he was missing his family – including his wife and their three-week-old baby boy – and teared up after being comforted by football legend David Ginola.
Danny told David: “I’m a little bit homesick.”
To which David – whom Danny has already confessed was his idol growing up as a football-mad young boy – said: “It’s going to be fine. Concentrate on the food and think about how lucky you are.
“You have a lovely wife, a three-week-old baby boy. You need to be strong for them as well. They want to see you strong.
“When your son is going to watch the programme, he’s going to say, ‘Wow, daddy was strong. He’s a strong man. He’s my idol.’ I know it’s hard.”
The ‘Emmerdale’ star then asked David, 54, if he was feeling homesick too, to which the French sports star said he “can’t wait” to go home to his girlfriend and daughter.
He confessed: “Oh yeah, every day. Every day I’m more in love with my girlfriend. Every day I’m more in passion with my life.
“I can’t wait, I can’t wait to get out and tell them how much I miss them. I think I’m going to hug my little girl for two hours. She will not understand.”
Elsewhere in the episode, music producer Naughty Boy took on yet another Trial, this time alongside Olympic diver Matty Lee.
The pair managed to bag 10 out of 11 stars, which won them pigeon for dinner.
And the episode also saw the camp complete various riddles in a bid to win their luxury items – which saw them successfully secure all 11 special packages.
Adam Woodyatt received a chair, Louise Minchin got a hot water bottle, David Ginola opened up a pair of slippers, Frankie Bridge’s gift was a polaroid camera, and Dame Arlene Phillips got her hairbrush.
Kadeena Cox’s special item was a medicine ball, Matty Lee’s was a sleeping eye mask, and Danny got a picture of his family.
Simon Gregson received a pillow with a picture of his family on it, while Naughty Boy got the same gift with a picture of his mum printed on it, and Snoochie Shy had a pillow with a picture of her cat.
