The 'EastEnders' star hopes the pen salesman - who is dating Danny's daughter Dani after meeting on the ITV2 show - can cope with his new found fame and that the pair's romance can stand the test of time.

He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "He has no idea. When he comes out he's from South East London and he's going to be the nation's sweetheart and so his mates are going to want a bit of that. He'll get caught up in the whirlwind of it. And of course they have got the added pressure of being in a public relationship which is again really difficult, really difficult.

"Everywhere they go they are going to be followed around, especially for the first couple of months. So when he is out with his mates, I'm not saying at all if he would ever cheat, but there will be pictures of him ... It's whether or not they can come out on this journey together through this fame thing."

Meanwhile, Danny previously admitted he would be open to Dani tying the know with Jack, 26, but he would like to meet him first.

He said: "She could probably be the best wife anyone could ever want. If she finds the right boy... she's got to find the right boy. It would be lovely if her and Jack would walk down the aisle but who knows, let's meet the f*****g geezer first. Dani is so sweet and lovely, honest and funny."

Danny appeared in the villa during Sunday night's episode (29.07.18) via video link where he gave Dani and Jack's relationship his seal of approval.
