Danny Dyer has warned his daughter not to do "anything silly" on 'Survival of the Fittest'.
The 'EastEnders' actor is thrilled that his 21-year-old daughter Dani has joined the new ITV2 series, which sees the contestants strip down to their bikinis and shorts in the South African sun to see who is the fittest of them all, but has told her to behave herself.
She told The Sun Online: "When I first told him, like any dad, he had his protective hat on and said, 'don't do anything silly'. Now he is getting it and he said 'it feels real now and I'm so proud of you'. He knows the person I am and he is really excited and it's nice to have that support at home. He probably will be emotional as well.
"My mum and dad will be watching it every single night."
And, although it took him a while to get his head around Dani's new job, the 40-year-old actor has since taken to his Instagram account to praise his beloved daughter.
Alongside a photograph of Dani, he wrote: "How on earth this fine specimen came from my loins I will never know. #survivalofthefittest #Dani (sic)"
The show, which has been dubbed the 'new 'Love Island', will use elements of the hit series - such as recruiting a group of young, hot singletons and throwing them into a villa to compete for a cash prize.
But, rather than having them lounge around by a pool all day lapping up the rays in their bikinis, the contestants will take part in gruelling physical challenges, in which boys will go against girls, every day while going on dates.
