Danny Dyer is "thinking of getting a wig" after starting to lose his hair.
The 'EastEnders' actor joked he might try to emulate Elvis Presley's iconic quiff, but he suggested "everyone will laugh" if he decides to wear a hairpiece.
Speaking on the 'Sorted With The Dyers' podcast, he said: "I've seen some strong wigs.
"Basically, I'm thinking of getting a wig - a nice Elvis one with a big quiff on it. But I can't, because everyone will laugh.
"As soon as you've turned your back on them with your wig, half a second later, they'll all be sniggering."
However, the 43-year-old soap star - who has played Mick Carter in Albert Square since 2013 - insisted society needs to become more accepting of wigs, and he'd want everyone to "pretend" it's his real hair.
He added: "Coming from a man who's losing his hair, if I was to wear a wig everyone in that room has to collude and pretend that that's my hair."
Danny recently admitted he's "freaked out" by the idea of becoming a "great great grandad" by the time he's 80, as his daughter Dani, 24, is pregnant for the first time.
He said: "Well, it's such an honour. I mean, in my head, I'm still 20 in a way, you know, you're not gonna be a grandad and stuff.
"So I just want the baby to be healthy. And I'll just, you know, it's always talking about these things. You know, the baby's not here yet. We're excited. It's the start of a new era.
"And I just got to try and get my head around the fact that I could be a great grandad by the time I'm 60. Yeah, that's what freaks me out more than anything else. Really!
"Then a great great grandad by the time I’m 80. But I should have known this was coming. I had her when I was eighteen! So, you know, it was always going to be inevitable."
