Danny Dyer struggles to fit into his 'EastEnders' costumes on Monday mornings, after over-indulging at the weekends.
The 44-year-old actor - who plays Mick Carter in the BBC soap - has admitted he often has a Chinese takeaway on Fridays as well as his favourite Indian meal on a Saturday, and a Sunday roast to top off the weekend, which means he needs a detox when he goes back to work.
Speaking on his 'Sored with the Dyers' podcast, he said: "I have a Chinese on a Friday, and an Indian on a Saturday, and a roast on a Sunday.
"Honestly, when I go to work on Monday, I've swelled up so much ... when I try to put my costume on all my neck is really fat. What I usually do is have a detox."
Last year, Danny opened up on his fitness regime - including a home gym and yoga routine - as he planned a lifestyle overhaul to lose some weight.
He previously said: "I've just built a nice gym in the summer house. I need to start running. We've got a running machine. I also need to get a nice bike.
"I’m in my forties, I need to start looking after myself and take my cups down of my breast. I want to go down a cup.”
And he admitted his love for yoga helped him relax during the pandemic.
He added: "I wear a tiny little pair of shorts but I prefer yin yoga where you don't get up. Every move is on the floor and every pose if four minutes long, it's all about stretching your muscles.
“My favourite is the dead frog, you sort of lay on the floor as if you've been run over, like the recovery position, it's all candlelit.
“It's about controlling the brain, that’s what yoga is it’s doesn’t really keep you fit although it helps your internal organs and stuff but it’s about controlling your mind in 45 degrees heat.”
