Danny Dyer would love Jodie Whittaker to join 'EastEnders'.
The 41-year-old actor is keen for the 'Doctor Who' star - who portrays the titular Time Lord - to bring her TARDIS to Albert Square for a special crossover appearance, because he thinks she is an "incredible actress".
When asked who he has been enjoying watching on TV of late, he said: "Jodie Whittaker from 'Doctor Who'.
"What a woman; an incredible actress. I'd love to see her cross over to 'EastEnders'."
Danny has been TV Times magazine readers' Favourite Soap Star for 2018, and admits the prize is a "lovely early Christmas present".
Speaking to TV Times magazine, he added: "I'm a bit choked up.
"It's a bit of a surprise, but a lovely early Christmas present. I'll put it in my dressing room, so I can look at it every day and be proud."
While Danny loves watching Jodie portray the Thirteenth Doctor after she replaced Peter Capaldi as the legendary sci-fi character, he previously wanted to take on the role.
Speaking in February 2017, he said: "I'd be interested in it. I could see myself in the scarf and all that.
"I think I could do it easily. I'd keep my accent too."
Danny is no stranger to winning an award for portraying Mick, and in October he claimed his on-screen wife Kellie Bright (Linda Carter) "forgot" to bring home their Best Partnership Inside Soap Awards gong because she was drunk.
He joked: "We'd like to show you the award in our hands, but unfortunately she's forgot it.
"She was ... how can I put it, she was battered last night. She was celebrating."
While Danny was telling the story, Kellie made sure to clarify that she definitely hadn't "lost" the trophy.
She added: "I wouldn't say lost, I'd say forgot."
