Dannii Minogue has compared the elimination process on 'Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model' to 'The X Factor'.
The brunette beauty is set to appear as a judge on the next series of the modelling show and admits she felt the same level of emotion when sending a contestant home as she did when sat on the panel of the hit singing show from 2007 to 2010.
She said: "I walk away from every elimination feeling drained and upset for the girl going home. It's the same on 'The X Factor'. If one of your team goes, you feel really down.
"Normally, if you are the judge whose person went home, you feel bad but the other judges are fine. But on BINTM, if we send a girl away, we all feel down."
Dannii sits alongside supermodels Elle Macpherson and Tyson Beckford on the programme and despite feeling nervous about giving her opinion in front of two professionals, she was grateful for how helpful and friendly they were.
She added: "We are all strong characters and I have to say my piece alongside two supermodels, which isn't always easy, but Elle is amazing."
The 41-year-old star - who has four-year-old son Ethan with ex-boyfriend Kris Smith - was recently confirmed as a judge on the Australian version of 'X Factor' and she can't wait to return to her home country for the opportunity.
She gushed to new! magazine: "I'm so excited! I'm an Australian, so why wouldn't I want to be on the best show out there? I'm a mum and it's time to go back to work!"
