Danniella Westbrook was left bruised after being attacked by a thief armed with a baseball bat.
The 46-year-old actress has revealed details of the violent attack on Twitter, saying he was left bruised after her phone was stolen from her.
Danniella wrote on the micro-blogging website: "So had my phone stolen off me yesterday,,, some people are just scum.. (sic)"
Asked whether she would report the attack to the police, Danniella said: "I have reported the incident to police - along with the bruises from the bat the guy used on me... (sic)"
The TV star admitted to being shocked by the incident, but later insisted she's now okay and had already ordered a new phone.
Danniella also conceded the incident didn't compare to the things she'd been through during her cocaine addiction.
She said on Twitter: "I'm OK tbh had much worst when I was in full blow addiction but not getting any younger and the shock was actually the worst of it. Phone blocked and new one on the way x (sic)"
Meanwhile, Danniella previously claimed Ross Kemp helped to save her life on the set of 'EastEnders'.
The actress - who starred as Sam Mitchell in the BBC soap - collapsed on the set of the show at the height of her cocaine addiction, and her co-star insisted she received medical help before they restarted filming.
She explained: "I passed out from the top of the stairs at the Queen Vic and just collapsed all the way down and Ross caught me.
"The producer went, 'Pick her up and make her work - we need to get this in the bag'.
"Ross looked into the camera and went, 'Get her a doctor - this kid is dying. I'm standing down.'"
Danniella also received support from Dame Barbara Windsor, who played her on-screen mum Peggy Mitchell, and the rest of the 'EastEnders' crew.
She recalled: "Barbara Windsor went, 'I'm standing down'. And the crew went, 'We're standing down'. And they called me an ambulance."
