Daniel Brocklebank
The 'Coronation Street' star - who plays Billy Mayhew in the ITV soap - took to Twitter to admit he has had a tough couple of weeks and he hopes by sharing his own plight, it might be helpful to others who are experiencing the same kind of thing as he urged people to speak out.
Writing an honest message on Twitter, he said: "I don’t know if this is helpful to anyone, but I’ve had some really low points over the last few weeks. I’ve struggled. Which is unlike me.
"Thanks to my beautiful family & friends who have listened & supported me I’m good.
"Please speak out if you’re finding things tough. (sic)"
Daniel previously took to social media to reveal he was left aghast when some 'Coronation Street' fans told him he looked older than his mother.
In a Twitter post, he revealed: "Today I had a few people tell me that my mum looks younger than me. While this pleases her muchly please consider those of us that had an up hill paper round & also inherited my dads genetic facial ageing... (sic)"
Since lockdown started being eased in the UK, Daniel has been enjoying having some freedoms back, especially seeing his family and friends, who he has missed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
And the soap star is very excited for the summer as more restrictions are lifted.
He tweeted: "I’ve had messages from folks saying they like lockdown & they’re not ready to “people” yet ... that’s cool. You do you. I’m ready to “people” the s*** out of this! Bring on the people!!"
Previously discussing the easing of lockdown restrictions, he wrote: "If lockdown has taught me anything it’s that the smallest things were definitely the biggest. I will never take anything for granted again."
