This weekend, Dancing On Ice will go through its first double elimination of the series, with two celebrities and their professional ice skating partners being sent packing. All of the stars are upping the stakes this week, with one duo in particular set to attempt the first headbanger of the series. It’s an incredibly difficult stunt to pull off, and we imagine audiences will be watching through their fingers when the two take to the ice!

The final is now just three weeks away, and so everybody’s got special treats in store for both the fans, and those competing. The skating legends have something exciting to show off in tonight’s show, whilst judges and professionals Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill will also be making a surprise announcement, live on the episode.
There’s no telling just what they’ll be saying, but having only seen the two behind the judge’s table for the whole of this series, it would be great if they announced their own return to the ice!
Weather forecaster Alex Beresford remains in the competition, as well as fellow celebrity competitors Antony Cotton, Brooke Vincent, Donna Air, Jake Quickenden, Kem Cetinay and Max Evans.
Quickenden is currently the hot favourite to win this year’s series, but as we’ve seen in the show’s history, there’s always the opportunity for one of the other stars to pip them to the post with their professional partner! After tonight’s double elimination however, we should be getting a clear view of what the final may look like in three weeks’ time.
Dancing On Ice returns to ITV tonight (February 18) with a double elimination at 6pm.
