Dan Walker would only do ‘Dancing on Ice’ if his ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ pro partner joined him on the show.
The ‘BBC Breakfast’ presenter - who was booted off the latest season of the programme in Week 11 - admitted to being open to competing on the ITV ice skating competition, but he would want Nadiya Bychkova to also take to the ice.
When asked in an Instagram Stories Q&A session if he would be up for doing 'Dancing on Ice' at some point, he said: “Just ‘dancing’ was hard enough. I’ll do it @nadiyabychova does it.”
Earlier this month, Dan admitted he his wife "had a laugh" while discussing the so-called "'Strictly' curse" after he was paired with professional dancer Nadiya.
He has been happily married to his wife Sarah for 20 years, but admitted the pair did have a chat about the infamous "curse" - when individuals taking part in 'Strictly' who are already in relationships end up finding romance with their professional partners - before filming began.
He said: "When Sarah saw who I was partnered with, we had to have a laugh about it.
"Obviously, you discuss those things, the curse, but it wasn’t a lengthy discussion. I think we tried to make it light-hearted, to have fun doing it.
"But the first Monday I trained with Nadiya, she came around and had dinner with my family. We’ve been out four or five times to restaurants.
"My family is really, really important to me and always have been and always will be. I didn’t want them to feel excluded.
"So no, being paired with Nadiya was never a problem. Friendship is a blessing. And I think from the moment we first met, Nadiya and I knew we were going to get on.
"But I’ve always introduced her on any social media video I’ve ever done as my ‘professional partner’ because that’s her job. She is very professional.
"We had a good laugh. We messed about with silly sketches during our lunchbreak but we worked really hard."
