Dame Julie Walters and Victoria Wood once slept on a bar floor after getting drunk.
The 70-year-old actress and the late comedy star became great friends over the decades, and Julie has recalled one time when they both ended up falling asleep in Victoria’s room when a fire alarm sounded.
Julie added: "Oh my God, we used to get p*****.
"We woke on the floor [of the Midland bar] one time, someone hoovering around us."
Julie and Victoria - who died of cancer, aged 62, in April 2016 - were great friends and frequent collaborators during their careers.
And Julie has admitted they didn't take long to strike up a life-changing bond.
She said: "We made one another laugh straight away. It was cruel taking the p*** out of other people. Awful we were, but it made us really laugh."
Victoria wrote a sketch called 'Sex' with Julie in mind, and the veteran actress has admitted she loved performing the routine.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, she says in the biography 'Let’s Do It': "When we stood on stage doing that sketch – and we both loved doing it – it gave me such a boost."
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Victoria was determined to keep her health issues a secret from everyone, apart from a few close friends and family.
Grace, Victoria's daughter, said: "She shared what she had to but, given the choice, I think she’d have shared none of it."
The TV star delayed one procedure to compere the London Jazz Festival and even though she missed a couple of award shows, she told Grace she didn't want people speculating about her health.
She said: "I don’t want rumours spreading that I’m at death’s door."
