Daisy Lowe was left "heartbroken" when she was in the dance-off on 'Strictly Come Dancing' for two consecutive weeks.
The 27-year-old model was left in the bottom two on the BBC ballroom show twice, despite getting high scores from judges Craig Revel Horwood, Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Darcey Bussell.
Daisy escaped the dreaded dance-off last weekend with Laura Whitmore leaving the programme after losing out to Ore Oduba and she admits it was a relief to get through on the public's vote.
Speaking to Nick Grimshaw on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show on Wednesday (09.11.16), she said: "I think the first time being in the bottom two made me really upset and I feel like I was heartbroken the whole week and then the second time it happened it made me think, 'No, I do deserve to still be here and I am going to keep dancing, I really love it and I am really going to try and stay this time.' "
Daisy didn't think she would make it as far as she has on 'Strictly' as she is a naturally "clumsy" person and not necessarily cut out for the discipline required to dance ballroom and Latin routines.
She said: "I'm really clumsy, I'm always dropping things and I'm quite dizzy and forgetful. I'm trying my best, you know what I think it's the most joyful thing you can do with your body is dancing and you know, I love music and it's very special, I felt like I have learned so much more than what I thought I would've learned, it's not just the dancing, I'm learning to have a bit of self-confidence because I'm quite rubbish at that."
Despite her previous doubts, Daisy - who has recently split from her model boyfriend Frankie Wade - insists her confidence is growing and she has started to dream about winning the glitterball trophy ahead of her fellow contestants, who include Judge Rinder, Ed Balls and Louise Redknapp.
She spilled: "I would love to win, it would be a dream come true, I know that the competition is high and i know that everyone loves everyone and wants to win the competition but I would love for people to pick up the phone and vote for me."
