Curtis Pritchard says the secret making the romance last is to give each other space.
The 23-year-old professional dancer shared his advice after more 'Love Island' couples have revealed their split since leaving the villa over the summer, and revealed he and Maura Higgins have learned to "support each other".
Speaking on ITV's 'Lorraine' on Thursday (31.10.19), Curtis said: "We wanted it to become a real relationship, because obviously in the villa... I don't wanna say it's not real, but it's a different world. It's a bubble.
"Things are going very good, I think the key is we give each other space. I allow her to do all the work she wants to do and she lets me do what I want to do.
"We are supporting each other 100 percent."
'The Greatest Dancer' star met his girlfriend Maura on the ITV2 dating show this year, but the pair decided not to make the relationship official until earlier this month.
Curtis admitted he took his time because he wants their relationship to "last forever", and Maura revealed: "He asked and I said yes obviously. He took me away for a weekend break, and he asked me out over dinner in London the next day."
The pair came in fourth place on the show, with Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea taking the crown.
However, the winning duo split just five weeks after taking home the £50,000 prize money.
The past week also saw India Reynolds and Ovie Soko break-up over the weekend, as well as Danny Williams and Jourdan Riane confirming their split yesterday after the model accused Danny of staying out all night with other women.
