The former 'Love Island' star recently tested positive for the virus, but he has been allowed to go back to the E4 dating show's mansion after he tested negative four times in a row.

A spokeswoman said: "After four negative results and in agreement with the team at 'Celebs Go Dating', Curtis has gone back to filming."

Production on the show was temporarily paused after Curtis tested positive, despite having quarantined beforehand, and a pal has said he felt bad about filming being halted.

A friend told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre TV column: "This is a massive relief for Curtis.

"Being the sort of person he is, he felt terrible that with his test result he had halted production."

Despite testing positive, Curtis was said to be feeling "absolutely fine".

The insider added: "He is absolutely fine, has no symptoms and feels fit as a fiddle. But it’s put the brakes on the whole show until he gets the all-clear and everyone else continues to test negative."

Earlier this week, it was revealed filming on the dating show - which also stars Chloe Ferry, Karim Zeroual, Kimberly Hart-Simpson, Sophie Hermann, Tom Zanetti and Wayne Lineker - had been paused after an "unexpected" positive test.

A show spokesman said: "Filming has paused temporarily as it awaits further information regarding a routine Covid test.

"The result was unexpected since the individual had quarantined prior to entering the house, and had been regularly receiving negative results."
