Craig Revel Horwood thinks Fleur East should have won 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The show's judge admitted he thinks the 'Sax' hitmaker and her professional partner Vito Coppola were "robbed" of victory because she was "absolutely extraordinary", though he acknowledged eventual winners Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystał were also "spectacular".
Spealong on the 'Magic Breakfast' show, Craig told hosts Ronan Keating and Harriet Scott: “Fleur, can I say this on Magic darling, she was robbed, there you go that’s just me.
"I mean I absolutely love Fleur…for me in the final anyone could have won, I think Hamza did an absolutely spectacular job and he had all the audience behind him which is really important as well.
"But I thought Fleur really came out of her shell and she was absolutely extraordinary. And I’m not just saying that!”
The 58-year-old choreographer commended Fleur for being able to get herself out of the "dance gutter" after finding herself in the dance-off on several occasions, and admitted he's excited to see her in action on the show's live tour.
He said: “She’s doing her Destiny’s child track which I absolutely adore. That’s one of my favourite favourite routines…she is spectacular.”
Craig has been a judge on all 20 seasons of the show and he singled out Ann Widdecombe - who was partnered by Anton du Beke in 2010 - as his all time favourite contestant.
Asked his favourite contestant, he said: “I’m going to say this because it was so much fun, it’s actually a video I keep looking at over and over and over again. Ann Widdecombe, Ann Widdecombe wins in that yellow outfit hands down, I mean she is sort of what the show is about, so that’s a great question…there’s been so many fantastic people.”
