Craig Revel Horwood has described his 'Celebrity MasterChef' victory as the "best Christmas present ever".
The 'Strictly Come Dancing' judge triumphed during Wednesday's (23.12.20) special 13 years after he last appeared on the BBC show, and he joined Monday's winner Janet Street Porter as this year's festive champions.
He said: "I have been waiting a long time for this. I've had a great time. I'd give everyone a great big Christmas kiss and hug if I could.
"I never win anything and I love it. This is the best Christmas present ever! Absolutely amazing."
Judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode were both delighted with Craig's culinary efforts, particularly after he missed out on the crown in 2007.
John commented: "Today was a proper display of festive fantasticness. Craig has been waiting 13 years for this!
"He is flamboyant, his food is indulgent and that is what Christmas is about. His food was amazing today."
The 55-year-old dancer - who was competing against former 'Made In Chelsea' star Spencer Matthews, presenter Amar Latif and actress Crissy Rock - rustled up an alternative Christmas dinner including a fillet of beef with saute potatoes and pork, rosemary and cranberry stuffing.
For dessert, Craig - who also made a Christmas yule log with Amar for the invention test - went with a black forest rose crepe with a cherry filling in a cherry brandy liqueur.
After his victory, Gregg - who described the dessert as "fantastic" - heaped praise on the star's efforts in the kitchen.
He added: "Craig put a lot into his main course. It was delightful.
"The winner had to be him when you look at the technical skill, the ambition and the flamboyancy.
"It was absolutely delicious, it was Christmas indulgence. Well done, Craig!"
