Craig Revel Horwood will be "very nice and very sweet" on 'Celebrity Gogglebox'.
The 'Strictly Come Dancing' judge has signed up to appear on the Channel 4 show's upcoming Pride special alongside his friend Ben Boddard, and he admitted he will have a similar response to viewers if he ends up having to watch himself.
As quoted by the Daily Star newspaper's Hot TV column, he laughed: "I'd probably say, 'Who is that nasty piece of work on the end? He's a misery!'
"I'd have the opinion as people on Gogglebox as people have on me - I really am miserable and need to smile a bit more!
"But I am actually very nice and very sweet and people will see that when they see me watching the TV!"
The acid tongued judge admitted he thought 'Gogglebox' was a "ridiculous" idea when it launched in 2013, but almost a decade later he has become a huge fan.
He added: "I thought, 'Why would we be interested in watching people watching TV? It's ridiculous.'
"And then I was hooked and loved it! It's exactly what happens at home - people comment freely - and it's wonderful."
Craig and Ben will be part of the Pride special, with the lineup also seeing 'The Chase' star Paul Sinha and his husband Olly Levy make their first appearance on the show.
Meanwhile, Nick and Liv Grimshaw, Rylan and Linda Clark, and Duncan James and Denise Van Outen will return.
The episode will be broadcast on July 1 as part of the current series.
Channel 4 has said the programme will celebrate 50 years of Pride and highlight both the achievements and challenges of advancing LGBTQ+ rights.
