Jennie McAlpine does not want to know the sex of her baby before it arrives.
The 38-year-old actress - who is best known for having played Fiz Dobbs on the ITV soap opera 'Coronation Steet' since 2001 - is expecting her third child with husband Chris Farr and much like the last two pregnancies with children Albert, eight, and Hilda, four, is not tempted to find out the baby's gender in an upcoming scan because it is "not relevant".
She said: "It feels like our way to do it. Girl, boy – it’s not relevant! I’ve got two little humans who are very different from each other but I’m not sure they’re different because they’re a girl and a boy."
Meanwhile, the former 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here' star went on to add that some days she even "forgets" she is pregnant because of the usual "chaos" of having to balance domestic life with other commitments.
She told OK! Magazine: "There are days I forget! When I was pregnant with Albert, the pregnancy just consumed me, but there are other lives consuming me this time. All the schedules and calendars I have on the fridge… the logistics of three, getting them to swimming lessons… It’s going to be chaos, isn’t it?
"One of the first things I got Chris to do was get the baby car seat out of the loft and see if we could get all the kids in the back of the car – which we can, at a push. It’s all the practical stuff. I’ve got a friend who’s got four kids and they said after three, people stop offering to baby-sit. In fact, they stop offering to come around your house to visit!"
