'Coronation Street' star Tina O'Brien was the victim of an "unprovoked incident" outside her home.
The 40-year-old actress - who plays Sarah Barlow in the ITV1 soap - is said to have reported the matter to the police, following an incident outside her £1 million house in Bramhall, Stockport, on March 15th.
A spokesperson for the star told The Sun newspaper: "Tina was the victim of an unprovoked incident outside her home which she has reported to the police."
According to the publication, Tina tried to break up a brawl between teenage girls near her home.
Greater Manchester Police said: "Officers are investigating reports of an assault in Stockport between 8pm and 9pm on 15 March."
Tina - who has son Beau, eight, with her husband Adam Crofts, and 15-year-old daughter Scarlett Thomas with her ex and former 'Corrie' co-star Ryan Thomas - previously described Adam as her "everything".
In 2022, she posted: "You’re amazing and you inspire me to be better, bolder and braver. Thank you for being my mentor without even knowing you are."
More recently, Tina has been full of praise for daughter Scarlett after she landed the part of Izzy Charles in 'Waterloo Road'.
Tina recently posted on Instagram: "So proud of Scarlett, she’s worked so hard on Waterloo road and I’ve absolutely loved watching her portrayal of Izzy. Wonderful to see her talent recognised by @tvtimesmagazine as she’s been nominated for an award #proudmum. (sic)"
Last September, Scarlett was shortlisted for TV Times magazine's Favourite Young Actor prize.
Tina's 'Corrie' co-stars Isabella Flanagan and Jude Riordan were also shortlisted, but EastEnders' Lillia Turner went on to win the accolade.
