Tom O'Connor has died at the age of 81.

The stand-up comedian - who hosted a number of TV quiz shows during his career - passed away in hospital on Sunday (18.07.21), after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease 14 years ago.
Steve Finan O'Connor, his son, has paid tribute to the late comedian, describing his dad as being "light years ahead of political correctness".
He added: "Tom was famously known for a brand of humour that was 100 percent clean and always totally family friendly."
The comedy star hosted shows such as 'Name That Tune', 'Crosswits' and 'The Tom O'Connor Show' during his career.
He also hosted 'I’ve Got a Secret' and 'The Zodiac Show', as well as the snooker-based 'Pick Pockets'.
Liverpool City Council has already paid a glowing tribute to the late TV star, who was born in Bootle and always maintained strong links to the city.
The council said on Twitter: "Sad news breaking about the death of veteran Liverpool comedian Tom O’Connor. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. Thanks for the laughs, Tom."
Similarly, 'BBC Breakfast' host Dan Walker has also taken to social media to praise Tom describing him as a "true gent" and revealing he was a fan of 'Crosswits'.
Dan tweeted: "How sad. I had the pleasure of meeting Tom O’Connor and he was kind, funny and a true gent. I loved watching him on telly – Crosswits was great. My sympathies are with his family and friends. (sic)"
The late comedy star appeared on 'Celebrity Come Dine With Me' and 'Pointless Celebrities' in recent years.
He is survived by his wife and four children.
