Colin Thackery has signed up for 'Britain's Got Talent: Champions'.
The 89-year-old singer could be the first person to win the show twice in a year, as having being crowned victor of this year's series, he's set to face judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams once again in the best-of special.
A source told Metro.co.uk: "Colin is everything that Britain's Got Talent should represent so it seems only fair that he be given a chance to keep his title - and leave an even more historical note.
"He has been achieving a life-long dream with this show so was more than happy to come back to the series once again."
The Chelsea pensioner, who won over the UK with his voice and love of his late wife Joan, will be back competing with other iconic stars of the talent show and is already being tipped to win again.
The source continued: "It's no secret that Colin won over the entire UK when was first on the show. If anyone deserves to win BGT twice, it's him."
Colin will be returning just two months after he was crowned champion of this year's 'BGT' and the veteran crooner recently joked his success on the show had brought him some new attention from the ladies.
He said: "I don't think I'm a heart-throb but I'm getting a lot of attention from the ladies. I'm not complaining mind you!
"As a Chelsea Pensioner you get used to having your picture taken.
"Every time we go out in our scarlet coats we get recognised.
"It's just that now people want their picture taken with me for a different reason."
He joked: "But if I get drunk and fall out of a nightclub I'll make sure no one sees me."
