Coleen Nolan has found acting on stage to be a terrifying experience.
The 54-year-old TV star - who first shot to fame as part of the Irish family girl group The Nolans - has recently turned her hand to acting, appearing in 'The Thunder Girls', and she's admitted it's been a nerve-wracking challenge.
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday newspaper, Coleen - who is a famously opinionated member of the 'Loose Women' panel - explained: "I've done two pantos. I'm not knocking that because it's hard work. But when you're doing a panto, if you mess up it becomes part of the show.
"But this is a straight play so you can't do that. And I've never had to learn so much script. The nerves haven't gone any night. Every night I'm nervous. It's a completely different world to anything I've done before."
Coleen stars in the production alongside the likes of Sandra Marvin, Beverley Callard and Carol Harrison.
And whilst she's found acting to be a huge challenge, Coleen has also relished the experience.
Coleen - who was married to actor Shane Richie from 1990 until 1999 - said: "It's been really exciting learning a whole new skill. I'm working with three well-established actresses. It's very daunting but I've loved every minute of it."
