Cliff added of the Christmas special: "It's going to be a very, very special episode. The series is great. I think it gets better every year."

The show's team recently shared a first-look at the Christmas special by posting a picture of three of the castmembers - Leonie Elliott (Lucille Anderson), Helen George (Trixie Franklin) and Megan Cusack (Nancy Corrigan) - having a snow ball fight.

They added in a Twitter caption: "Christmas Special Exclusive: Snowball fight!! Our ladies prepare for the forthcoming festive season special in traditional winter fashion!”
