Claire Richards hasn't been asked to do 'Strictly Come Dancing' - but she'd love to.
The Steps star's name has been in the mix for the BBC one ballroom and Latin competition this year, but she says the show's bosses haven't approached her yet.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "If I was to do anything, I would love to do 'Strictly', it's right up my street in terms of the lovely costumes and hair and make-up. It's all very glam. It all looks amazing until you are in it and then it's like, 'Oh my god, what am I doing?'"
However, Claire would find it challenging, despite Steps - completed by Lisa Scott-Lee, Lee Latchford-Evans, Ian 'H' Watkins and Faye Tozer - choreographing all of their routines, because she struggles dancing with someone else.
She said: "I can't dance with a partner. Whenever we've done that I end up getting picked up and moved around because I've kind of got two left feet when it comes to trying to dance with a partner, so I probably am a 'Strictly' dream, but I don't know.
"I definitely haven't been asked, but it's nice to be in the mix."
Steps head out on the 'Summer of Steps Tour' this month, kicking off on May 26 at the LCI Rail Stadium in Cheltenham.
