Christopher Biggins is to make his TV comeback on David Walliams upcoming sketch show 'Walliams & Friend'.
The 67-year-old British showbiz legend endured a tough summer after being kicked out of the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house for making an anti-Semitic joke to Jewish housemate Katie Waissel - which was not broadcast by Channel 5 - and anti-bisexual comments accusing them of being afraid to "admit they are gay".
After making an apology in the wake of his 'CBB' misjudgement, Biggins has been slowly returning to work and will appear on his friend Walliams' new comedy series and will lampoon his experience in the 'Big Brother' house for a reality TV spook skit entitled 'Celebrity Slammer'.
It is set in a prison and will feature Biggins - who was crowned king of the jungle on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' in 2007 - and faded celebrities The Chuckle Brothers, Bob Carolgees and Spit The Dog and The Bill's Chris Ellison all depicted as inmates who are being punished by viewers at home.
According to the Daily Star newspaper, in one scene the pantomime veteran will be seen trying to saw through the bars in order get inside the jail as he shouts "I want to get back on TV!"
Walliams, 45, will be joined by several guest stars for his programme including Jack Whitehall spoofing Sherlock Holmes and Harry Enfield dressing up as Queen Elizabeth.
'Walliams & Friend' will air on BBC One from Friday, November 25.
