Christine McGuinness had to reduce the amount of filming she could do for the new series of 'The Real Housewives of Cheshire' because her husband Paddy McGuinness is so busy with his own television career.
The 31-year-old model has had to mainly be a stay-at-home parent for the couple's five-year-old twins Penelope and Leo, who both have autism, and their two-year-old daughter Felicity as Paddy films four different TV shows; 'Top Gear', 'Celebrity Juice', 'Catchpoint' and 'Take Me Out'.
Paddy's success has meant that her role on the ITVBe reality show has had to take a backseat and Christine appreciates how understanding the programme makers have been about her situation.
In an interview with the Daily Star newspaper, she said: "I've done a lot less this series but I'm really lucky the whole team understands I can't just drop everything and film all day and night. But I appreciate those moments outside my own reality and make the most of that little bit of time. And it's nice to get glammed up as that is definitely not my life!"
Paddy, 45, has been at home for only five days in the past month due to his filming commitments and even had to miss her 31st birthday because of work, and Christine admits it's been a "tough" time as she tries to cope with challenges of raising two kids with autism.
The blonde beauty does not use a nanny to help with childcare but her mum does come to stay at weekends to give her a helping hand and it has been a godsend for her.
Christine shared: "Every time Paddy's not here, I'm doing every breakfast, getting them dressed and changed because I still have to support the twins with that, physically feeding them, going to hospital appointments, and every school run there and back. Every teatime and bath time, it's full-on. It's exhausting. My mum comes most weekends and I'd be lost without her, but even then I don't get a break because I still have to be there. Should I get some support at home? I question that at times but I've managed for almost six years so should I just keep going? I don't know the answer."
