Chrissy Teigen has recommended 'Love Island' as a distraction amid the coronavirus pandemic and protests across the US.
The 34-year-old model - who is married to Grammy-winning star John Legend - has suggested watching the dating show is the perfect distraction during the current crisis.
Chrissy - who has Luna, four, and Miles, two, with John - quipped on Twitter: "If anyone needs a break from anything, each season of love island has about 53,000 episodes (sic)"
The model is a long-time fan of the show, but Chrissy previously confessed she needs subtitles to watch 'Love Island', as she struggles to understand the accents and slang used by the contestants.
She wrote on Twitter: "Not only do I need captions for Love Island UK, I need them to be bigger and I need to be able to play the show at half speed like a poscast. help @hulu I want to understand (sic)"
Chrissy subsequently asked her followers to explain one particular expression.
She said: "What does pied off mean (sic)"
This year's summer edition of 'Love Island' has already been cancelled due to the pandemic.
Kevin Lygo, ITV's director of television, conceded it simply wasn't possible to stage the show in the midst of the health crisis.
He explained: "We have tried every which way to make 'Love Island' this summer but logistically it's just not possible to produce it in a way that safeguards the wellbeing of everyone involved and that for us is the priority.
"In normal circumstances we would be preparing very soon to travel out to the location in Mallorca to get the villa ready but clearly that's now out of the question.
"We are very sorry for fans of the show but making it safely is our prime concern and 'Love Island' will be back stronger than ever in 2021."
