Chris Hughes is set to strip naked for ‘The Real Full Monty’.The 27-year-old reality star will take his kit off to help raise awareness for prostate cancer as part of the ITV show alongside Grand National-winning jockey Bob Champion, singer Jake Quickenden, actor Jamie Lomas, dancer Perri Kiely and former Welsh rugby star Gareth Thomas.A TV insider told The Sun newspaper: "This year’s ‘Real Full Monty’ line up is really special as the cause is really close to the stars’ hearts. Chris’ younger brother Ben was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 2018, while Bob had two cancer bouts at the height of his racing career.”Meanwhile, Bob was also diagnosed with testicular cancer in 1979 and underwent an orchidectomy and also had an operation to identify cancer in his lymph nodes. But it was his winning moment at the 1981 Grand National on his racehorse Aldaniti that helped him to beat cancer. The source added: “Bob said the thought of winning the Grand National kept him going through chemotherapy and he did just that in 1981 when he was riding Aldaniti. It’s going to be hugely emotional for Bob, along with Chris and the others, to go through this process. The show is a massive hit with viewers and this series is shaping up to be the best yet.”‘The Real Full Monty’ first appeared on television screens in 2017 to celebrate 20 years since the release of the film ‘The Full Monty’.The series featured Alexander Armstrong and a host of male celebrities who recreated the famous strip scene to raise awareness of male cancers. However, this year the celebrities are reportedly set to perform their routines on ice.An insider revealed: “The producers have clearly taken some inspiration from 'Dancing On Ice' and added an extra challenge for the celebs.“It seems we’ve got a bit immune to the sight of stars exposing their bits to an audience - and the elements. Now when they start their performance, they’ll have an extra reason not to want to fall flat on their face, or any other part of their body for that matter.”
