Chris Evans has confirmed the new series of 'TFI Friday' will be his last.
The BBC Radio 2 DJ brought the hit show back to life for a one off special earlier this year and is currently working on a full series but has admitted it will be his last because of his commitment to 'Top Gear'.
He said: "This is the long goodbye, I am not allowed to do any more 'TFI Friday."
Chris was announced as the new host of 'Top Gear' after presenter Jeremy Clarkson was sacked for punching a producer earlier this year and he's already counting down the days until it returns to TV.
Speaking at the Radio Times Festival, he joked: "'Top Gear' is not on until May, that's seven months, three days and 18 hours..."
However, the flame-haired presenter also claimed hosting the 'TFI' special earlier this year meant a lot to him.
He explained: "That was the happiest I have ever been on television. A lot of the time when we were doing 'TFI Friday' we were literally flying by the seat of our pants, it was hell to live through. With the [anniversary edition] of TFI we knew we had a golden programme to present, we were more relaxed so we could go and enjoy it."
