Chloe Ferry was left terrified after a break-in at her new mansion.
The 'Geordie Shore' star was forced to call the police after a fan climbed over the gate of her dream home in Newcastle earlier this week and has reportedly been left so spooked by the incident that she has told friends that she wishes she has never entered the public eye.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Chloe thought she had moved into her dream home but the incident has put a downer on things.
"This break-in has left her traumatised - people forget that she's only 25 due to all her success.
"It's left her questioning if she wants to remain in the industry."
Police are now investigating the incident, in which the intruder left a note under a plant pot and took photos in the grounds of Chloe's home.
Northumbria Police said: "We can confirm we received a report of an intruder on a property in Gosforth.
"We have spoken to the occupant of the address to offer them reassurance and advice.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the intruder and whether any criminal offences have taken place."
Chloe admitted earlier this year that she was considering quitting TV for a quieter life.
The 25-year-old star - who has a salon franchise and other business interests - said: "I think I’m just going to do one more season of 'Geordie' and I think I’m done with that then.
"I think I want to start steering away from TV and I want to start expanding my salons.
"I want to start doing more business side of things, and focus on that area in my career. That’s what interests me.
“I feel like I’m so different now to who I was when I first was on TV."
