Katya appeared with some of her co-stars on 'The Greatest Dancer' on Saturday (16.02.19) - on which Cheryl acts as a judge along with fellow 'Strictly' dancer Oti Mabuse and ex 'Glee' actor Matthew Morrison - and the pair had a lengthy chat about ballroom skills on set.

Katya said: "Cheryl wanted to know everything. She was saying to me, 'Katya ... show me how to move my hips, show me your arm movements, what do I do? And then she was practising. She was loving it. And she was really good."

The 29-year-old choreographer is certain former 'X Factor' judge Cheryl would do well on the ballroom and the past performances of pop stars on the programmes would suggest she'd have a chance to win the coveted glitterball trophy.

Katya told the Daily Star newspaper: "We do like a pop star on 'Strictly.' So you never know, she could be on the next series."

Cheryl danced with Pasha Kovalev - who announced last week that he is quitting 'Strictly' - on 'The Greatest Dancer' and impressed the studio audience and viewers with her impressive moves.

BBC bosses have already started booking up celebs for the 2019 series and Chris Evans and Huw Edwards are already believed to have signed up.

Shirley Ballas - who is head judge on 'Strictly Come Dancing' - has previously stated she would love to see Cheryl, 35, take to the dancefloor.

She said: "There's a few names bouncing around but I'm open to anybody that goes on. I would like to see Cheryl Cole on it. You know, I think she would make a great contestant."
