The 35-year-old singer - who has featured as a panelist on 'The X Factor' and 'The Greatest Dancer' in the past - has filmed an episode of the upcoming reality contest alongside regular judges RuPaul, Michelle Visage, and one of the rotating residents, Alan Carr and Graham Norton.

The former Girls Aloud star got to give her verdict after the contestants performed one of her biggest solo singles.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Girls Aloud have had a massive impact on pop culture in the UK so telly bosses were desperate to get Cheryl involved.

"She jumped at the chance and recently visited the set to film as a guest judge.

"Cheryl gave her comments on contestants who performed a lip-sync to her 2012 number one single 'Call My Name'. Viewers will love it."

Meanwhile, Graham recently admitted he was "ridiculously happy" to have signed up for the UK show.

He said: "Becoming part of the drag race family makes me ridiculously happy! I can't wait to see what the UK drag queens bring to the party, but they better weeeeerk!!!"

The 55-year-old star and Alan, 42, will alternate on the BBC Three programme each week but will both appear for the finale.

While Graham has some experience after being a guest judge on 'RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars' in the US, Alan will be joining the team for the first time.

The 'Chatty Man' host said: "Wow! To be sat next to Michelle Visage and Mama Ru as a guest judge on possibly one of my all-time favourite shows EVER is a dream come true.

"I can't wait to see what the UK Queens have got in store - it's going to be sickening! *does death drop*"

The UK edition will follow a similar format to its predecessor in the US, with 10 contestants competing in individual and team challenges.
