Cheryl Cole is set to return to 'The X Factor' judging panel.
The 30-year-old singer - who was previously a panellist on the programme from 2008 to 2010 - is being lined up for a comeback by show boss Simon Cowell, and he is also said to be keen to rejoin the panel.
An insider revealled to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Simon wants Cheryl to join him on the judging panel again. He regards the two of them as the dream team.
"The years they did the show together were hugely successful and Simon thinks that they could have an amazing comeback together.
"Simon has always been incredibly fond of Cheryl. Crucially, she also attracts headlines and will get people talking about the 'X Factor' again.
"It's still very early days though, so nothing is set in stone.
"At the moment talks are ongoing while Simon focuses on the remainder of the year."
Simon and Cheryl previously fell out after he axed her from the judging panel of the US 'X Factor' just a few episodes into the show's debut in 2011 and replaced her with Nicole Scherzinger.
He said at the time: "I took the view, along with a few other people, that she'd have been more comfortable back in the UK."
The brunette beauty then declined his offer to return to the UK version of the show and the pair didn't speak for months, but they are thought to have made up now.
