Cheryl Baker was asked to join this year's 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
The Bucks Fizz singer has admitted bosses of the reality TV show approached her and begged her to take part in the current series but she rejected their offer because she didn't want fans to see her "horrible side" that occasionally peaks out from time-to-time.
She explained: "'Celebrity Big Brother' brings out the worse in people ... The programme makes people do things they wouldn't normally do. Plus I have a bit of a temper. If someone's being nasty or unfair, I will say, 'We've got to do something about this.' I don't want people to see that horrible side to me."
And the 62-year-old presenter is convinced being trapped within four walls for almost a month would force her to crack.
Asked what makes her lose her temper, she said: "Unfairness and negativity. I hate liars, cheats and spiteful people. I was bullied as a child so I will not stand for it."
However, although she's not keen on sharing a house with fellow stars for four weeks, Cheryl wouldn't turn down the chance to take part in 'Strictly Come Dancing' - even though she can't dance.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, she said: "No one's asked me. I know the rumour is out there but it's probably scuppered my chances. I've been close to doing 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!'. I'd love to do 'Strictly...'. I'd be rubbish but I'd do it."
