Charlotte Crosby promoted safe sex for cats and dogs today, posing alongside a pair of giant condoms.

The 'Geordie Shore' star joined two members of PETA (People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and a three-month-old homeless dog in London's Covent Garden earlier today to encourage people to have their dogs or cats neutered or spayed to help get a handle on the UK's canine and pooch overpopulation crisis.

She said: "There's a lot of safe sex goes on in the 'Geordie Shore' house - but unlike people, dogs and cats can't play it safe without our help.

"It's up to all of us to fix the problem of animal homelessness by fixing our animals, preventing tens of thousands of adorable animals like Jumbo from suffering and dying every year."

Charlotte is known for her love of animals and was left devastated during the latest 'Geordie Shore' series when one of her pet fish, Egg, died.

The brunette beauty - who was only left with one remaining fish, Scramble - said: "Egg is dead. Egg was me favourite as well. I didn't ever want to tell anyone but there I said it.

"I'm taking Scott to pick up Egg's dead body cause I know if I fall in to a quivering ball of emotional wreck, Scott will be able to pick us up, cause he's canny muscle (sic)."
